Ms Ping Lu, born in Chengdu, Sichuan in 1958, is a member of the National Association of Fine Arts in China, as well as 1st Class Artist of Painting in China. Ms Lu is one of the top artists at Beijing Fine Art Academy, as well as a direct of Zhongshan Calligraphy and Paintings Association.
Ping started to learn paining at the age of 13 in Chengdu. She graduated from Department of Chinese Painting at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and joined Beijing Fine Art Academy in 1985. Her paintings often involve the image of children and females living in the countryside, which gives natural expression of their daily life as well as the being part of the nature.
Her art works have been exhibited in UK, Japan, USA, Australia, HK, Taiwan as well as nationwide in China.
